What is this event?
This is the annual Symposium that is held by the ECI. It is a free event that allows all those working in emergency care in NSW to come together to discuss topics of interest, hear about innovative projects, listen to the latest in emergency care, share experiences and network.
The program is available on the ECI website.
Why should I attend this?
The Symposium will give the latest updates in emergency care in NSW and enable those attending the opportunity to shape emergency care.
The ECI is here to advocate on your behalf but we need to know your views to do this. We know how much good work is currently taking place across NSW so this is the ideal opportunity to learn and share with your colleagues in similar roles.
Who is it for?
The event is aimed for all those working in emergency care in NSW, whether in an emergency department, in the community or as a linked service.
How much does it cost?
The ECI Symposium is a FREE event to allow all those involved in emergency care to attend.
To help those from rural and regional NSW areas attend the Symposium, the ECI will book and fund flights for up to two registrants from an eligible facility. This will apply for up to 2 registrants at each facility; any further requests may not be funded. If you are not sure if your facility is eligible please contact the ECI team directly. All flight request forms MUST be received by Friday 21 October 2016 to be booked.
There will NOT be any complimentary parking at the venue. There is a Secure Parking station located underneath the hotel. There is a conference day rate of $30 (arriving after 7am; departing before 6pm). To be eligible for this rate you must get your parking ticket validated at the hotel reception and pay for the ticket at the ticket machine in the parking station.
While the new CBD light rail is being built there are some changes to roads surrounding the hotel. Accessing the Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney is still possible, however drivers will be unable to enter or exit Jamison Street from George Street. Please visit http://mysydney.nsw.gov.au/guides/driving for more information.
The hotel is located near Wynyard Station and there are numerous bus stops within the vicinity. Please visit http://www.transportnsw.info/ to plan your trip.
The ECI will not be reimbursing any other travel costs for those attending.
