About this Event
The playgroup is available to families through the ECEI approach. It is supported by a team of allied health, early education and child and family professionals.
For parents and carers, ECEI Explorers is an opportunity to:
• Play and have fun with your child;
• Better understand your child’s support needs;
• Learn strategies to promote their development;
• Meet new people, make friends and develop a peer support network;
• Share tips, ideas and experiences; and
• Find out more about mainstream and community supports available to your family.
For children, ECEI Explorers is an opportunity to:
• Have fun;
• Socialise with peers;
• Interact with other adults; and
• Develop the skills needed to take part in daily activities and go on to live their best lives.

The Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) approach supports children aged 0-6 years, who have a disability or developmental delay, and their families or carers. Benevolent Society is the NDIS Partner in the Community delivering the ECEI approach to Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Logan and Redlands.
