About Grow Make Eat
The Museum's newest temporary exhibition celebrates the Tweed's growers, makers and consumers in stories that weave together our shared culinary and agricultural past, present and future.
The exhibition features native foods, case studies on agricultural experimentation and a display of almost every food product manufactured in the Tweed Shire. Explore stories of some unique ingredients, techniques and innovations, and learn about what locals are making and eating.
The Museum has collaborated with local Aboriginal and South Sea Islander community members to record family stories of past and contemporary food practices. A selection of these forms part of the exhibition alongside a seasonal calendar.
