Description

Set in the famous Prairie Hotel, this is a fossil inspired feast with connection to modern day seafood dining. Guest chef Hardy Weyrauch delivers a six-course creative culinary degustation combining native Australian add flavours and premium seafood from the pristine waters of the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula. Produce will be sourced from Hardy's friends and suppliers; Streaky Bay Marine Products, Venus Bay Prawns, Port Kenny & Port Lincoln Fresh Fish Place. Enjoy creations like cucumber gazpacho with prawn tails or sashimi strata. “Half a Billion” Ediacara inspired Jewellery cast from ‘deep in time’ will be on display.

Add a captivating slide show by Ediacara Fossil expert, Professor Jim Gehling, and this event is a total sensory celebration of First Life Fossils.
