Description

This is a fossil inspired feast. Guest chef Hardy Weyrauch delivers a six-course creative culinary degustation combining native Australian flavours and premium seafood from the pristine waters of the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula. Produce will be sourced from Hardy's friends and suppliers; Streaky Bay Marine Products, Venus Bay Prawns, Port Kenny & Port Lincoln Fresh Fish Place. Enjoy creations like cucumber gazpacho with prawn tails or sashimi strata. Artworks by famous artists Robert Hannaford and Allison Mitchell, created from their visit to Ediacara Fossil Site on Nilpena Station, will also be on display together with “Half a Billion” Ediacara inspired Jewellery cast from ‘deep in time’. Add a captivating slide show by Ediacara Fossil expert, Professor Jim Gehling and this event is a total sensory celebration of First Life Fossils.
