About the artist
Tetiana Koldunenko is a Sydney-based artist whose work captures the details, rhythms, and textures of the Australian bush. Trained at the Ukrainian Academy of Art and Architecture in Kyiv, the Florence Design Academy in Italy, and UNSW COFA, she brings over twenty years of international experience in painting, design, and visual storytelling.

Since relocating from Kyiv to Australia in 2010, Tetiana has developed a deep connection with native flora. Her signature technique merges sculptural relief surfaces with finely detailed realism, allowing her paintings to shift with light and perspective. Her recent series, Echoes of the Bush, showcases the individuality of Australian species—from the colour subtleties of eucalyptus leaves to the striking architecture of banksias—inviting viewers into a mindful dialogue with nature.

Tetiana has exhibited in Kyiv and across Australia, with works held in the City of Sydney Civic Collection and private collections worldwide. She is the winner of the Gallery 11:11 Art Prize and a finalist in popular Australian art awards including the Hunters Hill Art Prize, Bluethumb Art Prize, Northern Beaches Summer Art Prize, Newcastle Art Space Prize, and Brunswick Street Gallery Small Works Prize.
