Friday 12th of August 2022 - join us for farm tours on the Liverpool Plains showcasing Earthworks for Rehydration.
About this event
Participants will meet at "Levondale" 439 Blackville Road, Willow Tree at 9:30am and can enjoy morning tea in the garden, followed by a warm welcome and introduction from Tim Watts and a short briefing by Sam from Mulloon. Cam McKellar will speak about the current multispecies and view and discuss the earthworks undertaken. Lunch will be provided before heading to the Ottery's at 'The Oaks' 852 Big Jacks Creek Road to discuss swales, permanent pastures and strip grazing. Possible future projects can be discussed and the event will conclude at 3.30pm.
All those who attend will have the opportunity to submit an expression of interest for a mentor program hosted by Upper Mooki. 8 diverse mentors have been chosen to support landholders in transitioning to more regenerative practices.
