Earth Optimism for Beginners
Event Information
Description
Join us for an evening of optimism, positive tales and making connections. A chance to celebrate what is working rather than what’s not, and to showcase practical ways you can take action on climate change.
Be inspired and entertained by our great line up of guest speakers including:
- Tejopala Rawls with some climate change comedy (yes, it's a thing!)
- Oli Moraes of Climate for Change to share how you too can become a climate influencer
- Luke Barbagallo of Pollinate Energy with a tale of how ordinary Melbournians are bringing sustainable energy to communities across India
- Linh Do from the Climate Reality Project - Al Gore's program to amplify action on climate change with an update on what’s happening and how you can get involved
All this plus practical tips to help you take action that has real impact, with your MC for the evening, Ailsa Lamont from Pomegranate Global.
Stay on for drinks and networking at the fabulous Loop Project Space & Bar and find out more about their World Environment Day campaign. Tickets include nibbles (including great vegetarian and vegan range) with a cash bar available.
Win a TESLA test drive - we have 5 spots to give away on the night!
