Help us grow the revolution right here on campus!
The Permaculture Demonstration Garden on campus is thriving since we first started planting in 2014. Come along for a tour of the sustainable garden, and find out more about how we've incorporated permaculture* gardening design principles and promoting regeneration. Then get your hands dirty with a variety of tasks, including: putting the plans in the ground; feeding the soils with naturally; weeding out grasses to make way for native ground covers; pruning plants for higher yield/nutrient release/preparation for winter; and treating pests naturally.
Help us harvest the early spring yield and take some organic produce home with you!
Please wear sturdy shoes, sun protection and bring a water bottle. Please note, this event will not proceed during heavy rain.
