Early Conflict Resolution

Conflict exists in every organisation
We are all aware that workplace conflict can be extremely costly in terms of factors including, time, morale, productivity, turnover, psychological injury and legal claims. However, many people do not realise that conflicts are like the proverbial snowball rolling down a hill. They may start small, but once they get rolling they accelerate and it becomes very difficult to slow the momentum.
The irony is that many managers have a tendency to avoid conflict until the snowball is out of control. By this stage, the manager is out of their depth and resolution becomes more difficult. However, with a better understanding of workplace conflict and a few simple tools, managers can learn how to intervene early and prevent this path of escalation.
This course is aimed at providing managers with the skills, knowledge and motivation to get in early and nip conflict in the bud!

Analyse a conflict and choose the right strategy
Create the optimal environment for resolving conflict
Be aware of when to seek expert advice
Facilitate a conflict resolution intervention using the tools
