EA Australia | CHANGE MANAGEMENT and the Executive Assistant
Change Management training has long been provided to Manager and People Leaders, as these roles have an end point responsibility for ensuring that the people they work with are engaging with change in a positive and supportive way. But what if we were to provide this same training to those in an equally strong position to support change, but don’t have the title of people leader?
Executive Assistants are in a unique position, sitting in the centre of influential networks and with the opportunity to observe and influence outside the scope of their role. Providing a background to change management philosophy and training in the emotional intelligence skills that can help them support change across the organisation will not only help the change management process, but more importantly strengthen the role of EA and aid in the most difficult piece of any change plan – leading people through the change.
This highly experiential program explores the nature of authority, leadership, innovation and collaboration under conditions of uncertainty. Equipped with a transformational, practical approach, you will emerge understanding the complexity of reaction to and support change within your organisation.
You’ll not only learn how to support the organisation and your executive during the change period, but you’ll also be able to understand your own emotional reactions during this period – leading others always starts with a reflection on self.
