Event description
What do 200 Tonnes of electronic waste look like? Where does it come from and what happens to it?

About this Event

Are you curious about what happens to your old TV or computer when they stop working and don’t end up in the landfill?

City of Kwinana residents, join us for a 1.5-hour through our recycling facility and see for yourself exactly what happens! Learn about how you can make a difference to the environment by disposing of your electronic waste correctly and how to avoid common mistakes when trying to destroy data on your devices. You will see all the materials we recover from e-waste and learn about what happens to them.

Our free tours are available to educate visitors about the recycling process and allow safe and exciting views into the various materials.
