The 'Transforming Exams Across Australia' project funded by an Australian Government grant and led by Monash University, in partnership with nine other universities in Australia (ANU, CQU, ECU, MQU, RMIT, UniSA, UNSW-ADFA, UQ, and UTas), is hosting a series of e-Exam Roadshow workshop sessions in major cities across Australia. These e-Exam Roadshow workshop sessions offer local access to early project findings from over 20 'authentic assessment' e-exam trials in the run up to our e-Exams Symposium on 24 November 2018 in Melbourne. We welcome teaching and learning leaders, educators, researchers and education and technology support personnel to attend.

7.30am - 8am Arrival/Registration (Breakfast Served)

8am - 9am Session 1: Briefing - Rationale for e-Exams

  • For leaders/decision makers - high level overview
  • An argument for authentic e-Exams for employability.
  • A business case for authentic e-Exams.
  • Key findings on student feedback.
  • Latest developments on 'robust' networked Moodle use for online e-exams.

9am - 9.30am Break/Morning tea

9:30am - 10.30am Session 2: Workshop - Exploring the details of e-Exams

  • Workshop the findings on student feedback, logistics, examples of assessments.
  • Workshop the a selection of proposed project resources (e.g. sample case studies to influence decision makers).
  • Time for 'hands-on' with our 'robust' networked e-Exam approach.

End

10:30pm onwards: The project leader is available for private lunch, discussions, meetings or demonstrations by arrangement.
