Event description

Description

Join us for a free community forum to explore local and international perspectives on what it means to die well and what is needed to increase our focus on end of life care.

Dying Well is a pre-conference forum for the Oceanic Palliative Care Conference 2019. Whether you are attending the conference or not, you are very welcome to participate in this forum.

Our internationally-recognised panel is made up of three experts - Dr Christian Ntizimira, Greg Adams and Distinguished Professor Patsy Yates, and will be led by local journallist and presenter Di Darmody.

You will hear about what has led our expert panel to work in the arena of palliative care as well as their perspectives on what it means to die well. And you will also have the chance to contribute your own ideas on what you think makes a good death.

Monday, 9 September 2019, 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm at The University Club Auditorium, UWA.

Dying Well is proudly presented by Palliative Care WA - more information is available on our website.

Please note - this forum is now available as a FREE event thanks to a generous benefactor. If you have previously booked and paid, you will be refunded for the ticket price.
