Event description

Description

A not-to-be-missed workshop and evening of community stories, songs, dances and tellings with the Co-Founder of InterPlay, Cynthia Winton-Henry, and Hospice Chaplain, Stephen Winton-Henry, from Oakland, California on their Australian Tour.

Join impromptu players in a night of creative inspiration and wisdom sharing.

Stephen and Cynthia Winton-Henry are dying to live and good at helping people get into and out of their bodies. In the Dying to Live workshop they share lessons and welcome wisdom around the biggest dance we do: Live and Die.

Here’s what to expect...

Over a glass of wine and with a community of creative souls, using the old ways of music, stories, and dance we’ll toast one another, write our names in the book of life and touch on the four key body wisdoms of living and dying:
  • Death’s role at the sacred centre of life
  • That dying is not a solo dance
  • Dying requires a herd of angels
  • We have an obligation to die wise

...and more… all with playful, creative reverence.

Wear comfortable clothes to move in and come willing to participate in a gathering, both solemn and celebratory, imbued with simple, creative activities that will connect us with our own information and with our playful selves.
