Italian opera was very popular in the 19th century, and chamber music arrangements enabled people to play and listen to their favourite music in places other than the opera theatre. In an exquisite concert at Wentworth, in one of the best acoustic venues in the region, Duo Leonardo will perform a variety of music from the 19th and 20th century, including transcriptions from some of those most loved operas.
