Eva de Jong-Duldig will speak about the museum’s origin and development. We will also hear about the upcoming publication about her mother Slawa Horowitz Duldig to be published by Australian Scholarly Publishing.

Duldig Studio museum + sculpture garden, is a public house museum, art gallery and sculpture garden.

It is the former home and studio of Karl Duldig and Slawa Horowitz-Duldig. View the sculptures, drawings, paintings and decorative arts that tell the story of their creative lives in Vienna, Singapore and Melbourne.

The story of Karl and Slawa is one of survival and resilience. The collection illustrates pre-war European art and culture as well as celebrating the contribution refugees and migrants have made to Australia’s cultural, political and social development. A changing exhibition program in a dedicated gallery space and diverse cultural events and educational initiatives connect adults and children of all ages – inspiring creative journeys.
