Our vision is to provide a quality school holiday sports program run by qualified and experienced teachers and coaches that incorporates a range of team building, fitness activities and traditional sports in a fun and motivating fitness program that can be enjoyed by children from 6-12 years of age.
Our aim is to promote fitness in young children, teach them about healthy lifestyle choices and give them the tools to be confident participants in a range of sports. Most of all we aim to develop young sportsmen and women with a positive disposition to a healthy lifestyle and the skills and knowledge to allow them to get the most out of any sporting or fitness endeavor.
The program will run on 3 dates - the 20th, 21st & 22nd of December 2016.
Tuesday December 20th will have a Cheer, Yoga, Games & Mindfulness Focus.
Wednesday December 21st will have a Cricket & Team Games Focus.
Thursday December 22nd will have a Soccer, AFL & Ball Sports Focus.
All days run between 8:30am and 4:00pm. It is important that you do not drop off your child/ren before 8:30am and ensure they are picked up by 4:00pm. On the morning of your child/rens first session we ask you attend to fill in important medical and permission forms* relating to your child’s participation.
*On confirmation of your booking you will receive a link to download the required forms to provide (completed).
The day is split into 4 main sessions with breaks scheduled in between for rest, hydration and healthy snacks. All participants are required to bring their own lunch, hat and large drink bottle and be wearing sunscreen before beginning any session. Fruit will be provided for both a morning and afternoon snack and cold water for participants to top up during the day if need be.
Bookings can be made for individual days or the full week.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable/can be refunded?
Yes you are able to transfer the ticket to another child, notice must be given 24 hours prior to the booked date/s (the same T&C's apply).
Refunds will be offered for cancellations up to 7 days prior to commencement of each clinic or for sickness (on presentation of a doctor’s certificate). In the case a session is cancelled due to inclement weather or for any other reason on our part then the full cost of that day’s session will be refunded. If your child doesn’t attend a session they have registered for prior the money paid for that session will be forfeit.
Terms & Conditions
All Children MUST be registered for their session BEFORE the day of the clinic by contacting Luke or Nick by phone call or text message stating your child’s name, age and sessions they will be attending. A full medical and permission form will then need to be completed and signed by a parent or guardian on the morning of the first session before your child will be allowed to par take in any activity under any Duck & Turtle staff supervision.
All applications must be accompanied by the full fee (in CASH only) and medical form on the morning of your child’s first session for the week.
All medication for your child must be supplied and be clearly labeled and given to staff on arrival to any clinic with instructions for use.
All participants must be signed out in person by a parent or guardian at the completion of each session unless otherwise arranged with Duck & Turtle staff.
Sun Safe Policy
No child will be able to participate in any sporting activity in the direct sun unless they are wearing a hat and have applied sunscreen. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to ensure adequate sunscreen has been applied prior to drop off in the morning and we will ensure sunscreen is reapplied during break times throughout the day to avoid sunburn.
If the scheduled weather is expected to be over 35 degrees on the Channel 10 news the day prior the clinics for that day will be moved to St Mary’s Memorial School, 16 Milton St, Glenelg. Activities will be modified to reflect the days weather.
A minimum of 1:20 Coach: Student ratio is provided at all times when children are participating in sporting activities in line with the national standard.
