Are you passionate about inclusion, community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Join us for an upcoming Volunteer information evening to learn how you can become part of a supportive and exciting community.
Whether you're a student, professional, retiree or simply someone with some spare time to give, this evening will give you insight into the rewarding opportunities available to volunteer with DSV.
Every month we hold a volunteer information evening. Sessions are held online over Zoom and are co-hosted by a staff member with Down syndrome.
You will learn about:
- what Down syndrome is
- the work of Down Syndrome Victoria
- how you can get involved as a volunteer
- next steps.
Presenter: Johanne Zuleta
Johanne is DSV's Volunteers and HR Coordinator. She is a human resources professional with several years’ experience as a consultant and advisor before moving into the disability sector. She is passionate about helping others and loves contributing to a purpose driven organisation that advocates for people with a disability and their families.
Presenter: Daniel Kennedy
Daniel is a staff member of the DSV Advisory Network and he is a passionate advocate for people with Down syndrome.
