Description

Lives Lived Well, with the support of Ozcare, will be delivering the first Drug and Alcohol training in the Central Queensland region. To launch this exciting and unique training opportunity, we are offering this workshop at a promotional rate of $175 (full cost $210).

Who should attend?

Do you have regular contact with people who are affected by drug and alcohol misuse?

Drug and Alcohol First Aid is suitable for people working (or volunteering) in the community services sector, health workers or administrative staff or people who are new to the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector.

Upon completion of Drug and Alcohol First Aid participants will be better equipped to:

  • Recognise problematic drug and alcohol use

  • Describe the impacts of problematic drug and alcohol use

  • Identify the types of drug and alcohol supports and treatments that are effective in reducing use

  • Support people who have drug and alcohol problems

Refreshments and lunch will be provided for the day so we ask that you confirm dietary requirements during checkout.
