Support from your Local Area Coordinator

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way to support Australians with disability, and that means some new things to learn.

Carers Queensland is your NDIS Local Area Coordination Partner in the Community. Our Local Area Coordinators (LACs) are out and about providing information, answering questions and supporting people to access the NDIS.

Come and see us to find out more about the planning process or for help to connect with other community and government supports. It’s also an opportunity to get practical help with using your funding if you have already received your NDIS plan.
