Event description

Description

In May 2017, the City of Melbourne launched the Urban Forest Fund to accelerate greening across our city. The Urban Forest Fund provides financial support to new greening projects that otherwise would not be funded.

We are seeking expressions of interest to participate in round one of the Urban Forest Fund Partnership Program. Successful applicants will be eligible for a matched funding grant for their greening project, where the Urban Forest Fund will match your investment dollar-for-dollar (up to $500,000).

The Urban Forest Fund will support a wide range of projects, including:

  • new green open spaces

  • tree planting

  • green roofs

  • green walls or facades

  • water sensitive urban design projects.
