Materials needed:

Quality cartridge drawing paper, preferably smooth; loose or in a sketchbook (the higher the GSM, or weight, the better)

Graphite drawing pencils - at least H, HB, 2B, 4B (the greater the range the better)

Plastic or metal ruler (clean)

Erasers - kneadable eraser, plastic or vinyl eraser, mono zero eraser or similar (handy but not essential)

Blending stumps

Small, clean, soft paint brush or eyeshadow brush

We will be using a range of techniques, including some digital. If you have an ipad or tablet, you can install a grid drawing app such as Copy-It and bring along. Please note this is NOT ESSENTIAL!
