Event description

Description

If you have always wanted to learn how to draw, this is the workshop you have been looking for.

Part 1: Saturday 10th February 1.00pm-4.00pm is suitable for absolute beginners or experienced artists who want to refocus and polish their drawing skills. Learn how to see and draw shape, render form, and add texture, tone, highlights and shadows to create realistic looking drawings. In this workshop we will be working primarily with pencil and pen on both white paper and coloured card.

Part 2: Saturday 17th February 1.00pm-4.00pm follows up on skills and techniques explored in Part 1, with a still life set up with multiple forms, textures and tones to explore. We will also be exploring colour in this workshop, examining how different colours can be combined to achieve the illusion of form, tone and texture.

Cost: $50 per individual workshop or $90 for both. Includes all materials, tuition, and a delicious afternoon tea

12 places only.
