Drawing and Photo Lithography

This two day intensive lithography workshop will use photo positive offset lithography plates and will have an emphasis on drawing, multi-plate printing techniques and colour.
Over two days we will develop the use of, image and mark making for artists, previous participants from Introduction to Photo Lithographyare encouraged to return.
There is a small additional materials fee for plates and developing tools. A materials list will be sent to participants when they register.
Linda Swinfield is a multi-disciplinary artist working across a variety of media including printmaking, drawing, photographic traditions and digital media her work currently sits at the intersection between figuration and abstraction. Art making for Swinfield is a constant state of flux. She often merges media to often arrive at making sculptural forms.
Swinfield commenced as an artist in 1979 in Sydney, NSW where she studied academic drawing, traditional and experimental painting, printmaking and analogue photography. Her artmaking is now more conceptual and non-representational, merging multiple practices including photo lithography, the traditions of photography, drawing and sculptural elements.
