The event is held in a shaded beer garden with a high undercover concert stage and dance area, no noise restrictions and plenty of parking.
There is no denying that Dragon was one of Australasia’s most iconic bands. From humble beginnings in New Zealand, they moved to Australia in 1975 and captured the hearts and imaginations of millions of young Australian fans with a never ending string of hits. They cemented their place in Australian Rock History with their early honky tonk piano infused rock and later with powerful, funky mainstream pop rock hits.
Brisbane based show band “April Sons” recreate the high energy performances expected from true Dragon fans with a highly visual and entertaining two set show. The show celebrates the Dragon years from 1975 to 1990 as well as the Marc Hunter solo years from 1979 to 1982.
The April Sons will get the audience out of their seats and onto the dance floor as they recapture the vibe of this truly entertaining band.
