Description

Can you really make an air cannon with a garbage bin, set your hand on fire safely, or launch marshmallows with a vacuum cleaner? Join Dr Graham as we do extraordinary science with ordinary everyday items, featuring experiments you can try at home - along with some you definitely should not! See water split into hydrogen and oxygen using a lunchbox and an old laptop power pack, and a new leaf-blower ‘hoverboard! Visit www.scienceshowoffs.net for online experiments and competitions. This Inspiring Australia initiative is supported by the Australian Government as part of National Science Week.

Only for age range 6 years old and over.

  • Bookings are essential. Bookings are only nesessary for the children participating in the activitiy. We are unable to accommodate participants who have not made a booking.
  • Places are limited, please contact the library if you wish to amend or cancel your booking. This will enable others to participate in the program.
  • Age ranges do apply. Children attending this program must be within the specified age range. The age limit is necessary and made due to required skill level / coordination for the activity.
  • Adult supervision is required for all children attending the program.
