Hello Whyalla

This workshop is designed to give you a hands on experience making gorgeous natural beauty and cleaning products. There are so many toxins in the commercial products we use and more and more people are suffering with allergies and skin sensitivities. This workshop will show you how easy and affordable it is to use natural materials and the purest essential oils in the world to replace the harmful products we may be using.

In this workshop you will learn;

  • What is an essential oil

  • Why use doTERRA essential oils

  • 3 Ways to use essential oils/oil safety

  • To make 5 products that you get to take home. (This is a hands on workshop. Please inform me of any allergies or skin senstivities ahead of time) These products will be*; a lip balm, sugar scrub, cleaning spray, laundry powder and an essential oil blend in a roller bottle. All the products use essential oils as a key component. * These products may change slightly depending on availability of ingredients

You will also get;

  • A booklet with the recipes to each of the products we make

  • Entry in the draw to win an introductory kit of 'Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint Essential oils. This is valued at $35 retail. I will draw this prize at the end of the workshop.

  •  An opportunity to have your workshop ticket fully refunded upon enrolling with a doTERRA wholesale account.  *conditions apply. More information will be available on the day.

Space is limited in the workshop and will require pre-purchased registration at the Tickets Link above to ensure we have enough room and supplies for everyone.

Why does this event cost money? Aren't doTERRA classes free?

This event is a 'workshop' rather than a introductory class. What's the difference? This is a workshop which is designed to teach you how to use the oils and other ingredients to make homemade beauty and cleaning products. I will bring all the ingredients and containers and you will walk out of this workshop with a bunch of homemade goodies ready to take home.

Classes are information and education sessions where we focus on particular essential oils and their uses.

If there is enough interest I have sessions available for one on one consults or to run an introductory class. Contact me for more info.

What do I need to bring into the event?

Just bring yourself...or why not bring a friend or 2 along as well ;-)

Please wear closed toe shoes.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Please contact me via email; or find me on Facebook

What's the refund policy?

Due to travelling from Adelaide I need 7 days notice for any cancellations. Though feel free to give/sell on your ticket to someone else if you can no longer attend.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. I will have a list of attendees.

Can I update my registration information?

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, feel free to pass on your ticket to someone else if you are no longer able to attend. However, please email me at: with your name and the new ticket holder's name.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. As long as you have sent me an email or made contact about the change it won't be a problem.

Can I bring babies/small children to the event?

Sorry, not this time. This is so you can get the most out of the experience. Enjoy some kid free time. I'm happy to have anyone from 14 years old as participants (ticket holder) and they need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Help - Tickets are sold out but I would love to come!

If there is enough interest I will put on another workshop either Saturday morning or evening. In addition, I have available times for one on one sessions or can run an introductory class on the Saturday. If you have a group of friends who are all interested, why not host an intro class in your own home. I will come and run the class and cater it to the group's particular interest. Possible topics include; Essential oils 101, Essential oils for Mums and Bubs, Managing Emotions and Cleaning and Cooking with Essential Oil classes.

There are wonderful incentives for anyone who hosts a class.

Mel Watt - The Oily Teacher

My name is Mel Watt. I'm a school teacher and doTERRA essential oils Wellness Advocate. I run classes and workshops regularly throughout South Australia (and other states) about the amazing uses for essential oils and how they can support health and wellness. I have a particular interest in using essential oils in the classroom and am an avid DIYer, regularly making my own cleaning and beauty products. It wasn't until I was introduced doTERRA that I realised just how easy it would be to support my family's health and wellness in a wholistic way and that I could makeover my cooking, cleaning and beauty habits. I have never been healthier or happier and love sharing this with others.
