This 1-day participatory workshop will define domestic and family violence, unpack the theoretical foundations of our understanding as to why violence happens in intimate partner relationships and families, explore the impact on children who experience domestic and family violence, and develop practical strategies to use with children and young people to support repair and healthy future relationships.
This workshop contains professional reflective activities for participants to reflect on their own knowledge, understandings and practice, opportunities to share practice wisdom with colleagues and to contribute to small group tasks.
