Description

The Department of Health is rolling out training to all managers and supervisors to provide skills and confidence to recognise and respond to staff and colleagues who may be affected by domestic and family violence.

Training is mandatory for all staff classified at AO7 and above (and equivalent) with a direct report, however all staff with a direct report are encouraged to attend the training.

Each session is delivered face-to-face and runs for 2 hours with a very short pre-reading document which needs to be read prior to the training.

If you have any concerns about attending the training, please discuss this with your line manager.

Training sessions throughout the state have been scheduled up to July 2018 (including regional and many remote areas) to ensure as many staff as possible are able to attend the face-to-face training.
