The Australia-Korea Business Council (AKBC) is holding a Doing Business in Korea cultural training program to Australian executives working in Australia-Korea business. This half-day program provides participants with an introduction to doing business in Korea including Korea’s history, economy, society and business culture. Designed for executives that have a low-medium understanding of Korea, this program is suited to those looking to build a more successful business relationship with Korean colleagues, partners and clients. Korea is Australia’s fourth largest trading partner and there are a number of opportunities for Australian businesses to work with Korea. By providing you with information on how to do business in Korea and practical tips for working with Korean clients, you will be equipped with the necessary tools to succeed in Korea. The session will commence at 10:00 am with lunch included.
About the Australia-Korea Business Council
The Australia-Korea Business Council provides a national focus to assist and support Australian and Korean businesses to capitalise on opportunities arising from the bilateral relationship. Through our relationship with key Australian and Korean stakeholders in industry, government and academia, the AKBC increases awareness of opportunities in the Australia-Korea corridor, educates on how to successfully engage with Korea and helps position Australian businesses effectively in the Korean market.
Every year, the Australia-Korea Business Council hosts a two-day conference with their Korean counterpart, the Korea-Australia Business Council. In 2018, the conference will be held on the 29th and 30th of October in Busan, Korea.
