Description

Doctoral Discovery Day

Designed for first year doctoral candidates, or those about to embark on this type of degree, the Doctoral Discovery Day is a day to learn about the practicalities of using the Library and its services. Learn how to navigate our physical and online collections, including: serials, manuscripts, oral histories, maps, photographs, artworks plus stamps, coins, objects and ephemera. Materials handling and interpretation will be a focus of the day.

You will have opportunities to meet, and ask questions, of our expert and friendly staff as well as other researchers working across many different areas, from history to literature and geography to popular culture.

Our Doctoral Discovery Day is a chance for you to engage, up close, with the unique collections of the State Library of New South Wales.

Lunch is included.
