What better way to celebrate the first female Doctor than to also empower young women to change their lives?

It's the dawn of a new Doctor so I'm calling on Melbourne Whovians to join me for a cinema screening of Jodie Whittaker's first episode in the TARDIS. You'll be able to experience this historic event on the big screen AND there will be some awesome raffle prizes courtesy of the brilliant folk at All Star Comics and Leader Community News!

Doors open 6pm with the movie to start at 6.30pm.

This event is raising money for One Girl, a Melbourne-based charity which enables girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda to go to school and teach them business skills.

Be part of the movement that empowers these young women to escape childhood marriage and forced pregnancy to make their own way in the world. You know it's what the Doctor would do.

So dust off your sonic, don your fez, drape yourself with your favourite striped scarf and head to Melbourne Central - the universe is calling!
