Description

Presented by City of Melbourne

Australians waste up to 20 per cent of food purchases - or one in five bags of the groceries we buy each week. Over a year, this wastage equates to a mammoth $8 billion worth of edible food wasted.

Join some of Melbourne’s greatest innovators across the food scene as they unpack the multi-faceted food sustainability crisis.

Discussing the latest in food waste and changes needed for the future of food the expert panel including the founding chef of Feast of Merit Ravi Presser, leading Director of Food and Agriculture Innovation at Monash University Nicolas Georges and Karen Inge, Sports Dietitian of Dineamic, will spark your sense of social responsibility and inspire change.
