Come along and learn all about Canva for your business. You will need a laptop or desktop to work on for this workshop (not a tablet or phone) so you will get to implement what you have learnt. If you would like to be creating professional images for social media in your business, this workshop is just for you.
This workshop will cover the following:
1. Adding your brand kit
2. Choosing the right image type
3. Using templates
4. Elements and other tools
5. Uploading your own imagery
6. Downloading and printing
7. What you get in the paid vs free version
8. Creating videos and images with moving components
You will get time at the end of the workshop to work on your own design project.

ABOUT PRESENTER
Sarah Thomson has a long and established career in Marketing and Communications. She founded Online Social Butterfly in 2011. This was built on a solid career spanning a range of organisations from large multi-nationals, not-for-profit, government, franchise and small business. She took her career from Perth to Sydney and then on to London giving her an eye for international aspects of communications. Her talents lie in understanding marketing and how it is applied in the fast-paced world of digital.
Online Social Butterfly is a boutique agency run by Sarah and her husband Grant, who is a web designer. They offer a range of services that focus on supporting small businesses online and getting results.
Sarah’s strength lies in her ability to get to the heart of issues – many business owners struggle to understand what they need to do when it comes to online marketing and the experience Sarah has allowed her to cut through the noise and simplify actions for her clients.
As well as offering consulting and web services, Sarah is one of the most seasoned trainers in the social media space in Australia. She started running workshops in 2014 and since then has trained thousands of business owners across a range of popular topics.
The extensive experience Sarah has gained through her work in Corporate Marketing combined with almost 10 years running a Digital Marketing business is further enhanced by a swag of qualifications. She is currently writing a thesis on the role of influencers and intends to turn this into a PhD.
As an advisor, Sarah offers a no-nonsense approach that can see across your marketing activities and guide you to creating strategies that make sense and are easily executable.
