The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ) is ready to light up Brisbane.
Join us at the upcoming grand mega event, Diwali 2016. Organised by FICQ, the peak umbrella body for all Indian Associations in Queensland at King George square, Brisbane on Friday 21st of October 2016, Diwali/ Deepavali in Brisbane is the largest Indian Festival of Lights celebrated in Queensland and around the world.
Diwali celebrations at Brisbane has been a visual extravaganza which start by mid-day with a line-up of talented musicians, mesmerizing traditional dance performances and colourful Bollywood dances by eminent artists from various parts of India, Australia and from other parts of world too all singing and dancing into the evening.
And there is more to whet your appetite. Don’t miss out on the vast array of sensational, spicy spine tingling dishes and sweets available throughout the day.
More excitement will be provided by the free photo booths, live broadcasting from 612ABC Brisbane and the chance to win 2 airline tickets in our raffle sponsored by Singapore Airlines and Target Travel and Tours. The tickets are available at $5 each from the FICQ stall on the day of the event.
