Divine Daves: traditional burning and botany in conversation

About this Event

Join Uncle Dave Wandin, Wurundjeri elder and traditional firestick farming expert and David Cameron, Senior Botanist at the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, on a double act walk and talk where participants are sure to be enlightened by their wealth of knowledge around cultural and traditional burning, botany and more.

Walking, Talking, Listening, Learning is a series of six walking talks at Bunjil Reserve, Panton Hill during 2019 and 2020. The program is presented by the Paradoxa Collective and the Nillumbik Shire Council.

PS Paradoxa Collective members are planning to make art works for exhibition that will be informed by these walks. This may include photographs or videos. Please think about whether you are comfortable being in our documentation and let us know at the beginning of the event if you are not.
