Event description

Description

Who should attend: Diversity & Inclusion Senior Managers, HR Managers

As we become increasingly globalised and our workforce becomes more ‘multi-cultural’, there is an urgent need to harness the talents and skills which are often ‘hidden’ and under-utilised in our organisations. Many research studies including the recent white paper in Australia acknowledges identifying and using these diverse talents and skills result in greater productivity.

Objectives:

For Inclusion & Diversity leaders/managers to recognise the issues including:

  • what are the barriers

  • how to understand and work with culturally and linguistically diverse staff

  • how to harness and develop leaders from people of different cultures, in particular, Asian Australians

  • how do organisations identify and overcome systematic barriers to develop leaders from their Asian Australian staff

  • how can Asian Australians step up, what must they do to achieve this.

Method of Training:

Using Accelerated Learning (AL) techniques, a whole brain methodology which includes the systemic development of content via story-telling, music and creative visualisation to enhance retention and retrieval. Interactive and participatory, AL is fun while being instructional.

Dress Code:

Casual and ‘comfy’ as kinaesthetic activity may be used for learning and stimulation of the brain-mind.
