UNSW Galleries presents

Discussion: Justice for Juanita

Joined by a range of Juanita’s contemporaries and others for whom Juanita’s disappearance has remained of great interest, exhibiting artist Zanny Begg will moderate a discussion around whether justice for Juanita Nielsen is possible and what this might look like today or in the future. Speakers include Peter Reese, author of Killing Juanita.

Presented as part of the exhibition The Beehive at UNSW Galleries.

The Beehive was produced by Philippa Bateman. An Enigma Machine Production. An Artbank + ACMI Commission. Exhibition runs from 5 January to 23 February 2019.

This event forms part of the ‘Radical Sydney’ public program. Taking its title from Terry Irving and Rowan Cahill's book on dissident politics and actions in Sydney this program of talks, documentary screenings and performances engages with the histories and futures of local activism concerned with housing, public space, sexuality and gender.

Presented with the support of the City of Sydney and the Juanita Nielsen Community Centre.
