Join us for a virtual session to learn about RMIT’s new Graduate Certificate in People Analytics. Meet our experts and hear how leveraging people analytics can lead to positive organisational change.
This Graduate Certificate will enable you to explore the trends, opportunities and ethical challenges in the discipline of human resource management and people analytics. You will navigate key themes including effective and evidence-based people management, business and organisational analytics, qualitative and quantitative research strategies, descriptive and inferential data analysis, data visualisation, AI, big data and the future of work, and professional ethics.
If you have a background in HR, business, IT, data science or analytics, come along to the session and get insights into this exciting new program. You’ll have opportunity to ask questions and explore your career options within People Analytics.

Sally Smith
Head Of People Analytics at NAB and recent recipient of the IAPA 2021 Top 25 Analytics Leaders.
Sally is an experienced people analytics professional with a record of delivering measurement solutions to shape strategy and drive performance. She has a proven track record in HR consulting and project management in large complex organisations including financial services, manufacturing and logistics.
Sally is a great supporter of RMIT’s early careers program and is excited to engage with the RMIT people analytics curriculum and students.
Julius Roe
Fair Work Commissioner from 2010 to 2017.
Julius's career spans 40 years in industrial relations. As a leader in vocational education and training policy he has sat on boards for the Australian National Training Authority, COAG Apprenticeship taskforce Chair, Victorian Skills Commission and Australian Qualifications Framework Council.
Julius handles mediation in a diverse range of workplace disputes in the public and private sectors and has conducted reviews of workplace culture and managed workplace change projects, including changes to Victorian Government disability services due to NDIS, the introduction of Fire Service Reform and currently outsourcing and insourcing practices in the water sector.
Peter Hawkins
Executive General Manager Consulting, Modis Australia
Pete is the Executive General Manager of Consulting at Modis and is accountable for all the accounts, projects, delivery and people nationally. Pete has led the inception and continued growth of Modis’ Analytics practice, which was recognised in 2019 as the Microsoft Global Data and Analytics Partner of the year.
Pete has more than 20 years’ experience helping a broad range of commercial and public-sector clients to successfully navigate the many challenges that emerge when pursuing Digital Transformation strategies. He has been recognised by industry awards and accolades from extensive engagements with Law Enforcement & Justice organisations.
