littleBits: NASA workshop
(Years 7 – 9)
Want to learn the basics of circuitry? Or perhaps you would like to explore the world of aeronautical and aerospace engineering? The littleBits: NASA workshop will introduce you to littleBits, electronic snap-together building blocks that you will assemble in a variety of complex tools and machines.
Throughout the half-day workshop you will:

explore the basic concepts of aeronautical and aerospace engineering

discover the role of the electromagnetic spectrum in interstellar communication
-
build a working satellite dish or NASA grapple fixture.
The Discover STEM at QUT holiday program is a great way to broaden your STEM knowledge and apply it in a real-world context. Register now if you are passionate about all things STEM and would like to join a group of like-minded students to learn more about engineering this school holidays.
