Discover STEM @ QUT Holiday Program - Arduino: cars of the future workshop
Event Information
Description
Arduino: cars of the future workshop
(Years 7 – 9)
Do you have a keen interest in coding, electrical engineering or technology? Or perhaps you want to learn more about the future of driverless cars? The Arduino: cars of the future workshop will introduce you to breadboard circuits and teach you the programming skills needed to navigate a driverless Arduino car around a track.
Throughout the full-day workshop you will:
-
learn the basics of programming logic and processes
-
learn computational modelling methods to control digital and analogue inputs, outputs and sensors to manage the behaviour of your car
-
participate in challenges with fellow students for the shortest time around the circuit and the fastest straight line speed.
The Discover STEM @ QUT holiday program is a great way to broaden your STEM knowledge and apply it in a real-world context. Register now if you are passionate about all things STEM and would like to join a group of like-minded students to learn more about coding this school holidays.
