Event Details

Discover a better way to communicate with your trading partners in the event of a product recall or non recall action. Find out why GS1 Recall is an important part of the GS1 reform process. Keep up to date with latest practice in this area.

GS1 Recall is a standardised, industry-driven communication tool enabling organisations of any size including manufacturers, processors, wholesalers, distributors, retailers and importers to share real-time product recall and withdrawal notifications with their trading partners and industry regulators in a secure and efficient manner. GS1 Recall is supported by key retailers including Coles, Metcash, Woolworths, Big W, Home Hardware and Costco, with many others coming on board. Regulatory Agencies such as FSANZ and the ACCC also use GS1 Recall to receive recall notifications from the food & beverage and general merchandise and apparel (consumer goods) sectors.
