Advocacy for Inclusion’s Disability Rights Law Centre invites you to a networking night discussing the intersection of disability and justice.
Join Sue Salthouse for a drink and hear her speak on the issues facing women with disability. Sue will focus on access to justice for women with disabilities including the removal of children.
Sue Salthouse has worked in the area of social justice and human rights for nearly two decades. Her work highlights the uneven nature of supports available to individuals, especially women. She uses Human Rights instruments as a scaffold to argue for systemic change. She believes that the current reform process must address the gender-based inequities in the disability sector. Sue is a member WWDACT and has been appointed to a national advisory panel on domestic violence.
