Director Luncheon with Imran Furkan:

Emerging New Business Models Due To Digital Disruption

Are you a current / potential Board member who is too busy solving today’s problems and have not had the time or inclination to think about fanciful technology or the changing environment around us?

The world’s largest taxi firm, Uber, owns no cars. The world’s most popular media company, Facebook, creates no content. The world’s most valuable retailer, Alibaba, carries no stock. And the world’s largest accommodation provider, Airbnb, owns no property.

Something big is going on.

Fin Tech, The Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Mobile Computing, Analytics and Social Media are already here and very soon, Drones will be hovering around our front door with the daily deliveries.

Have you heard of the Australian company not called Google that sells clients their own data as insights in 35 countries or how the Big Four Banks are going toe to toe with the Fin Techs. Learn how some Australian companies are leveraging on social media and social proof to grow exponentially while spending little or no money on advertising!

This presentation will examine the key drivers of digital disruption and their specific impact on the business models of the future.
