Summary of Event

Attracting and retaining customers is essential in an increasingly competitive market, however many wine businesses are missing out on converting their most profitable prospects: cellar door visitors.

Implementing an effective Direct to Consumer (DTC) strategy involves much more than simply signing people up to a mailing list or creating a wine club. It starts with designing an enticing cellar door and developing memorable experiences that encourage repeat visitation and lead to ongoing, mutually beneficial relationships – and more sales.

This one-day workshop will provide you with the practical, hands-on skills to:

  • Develop a marketing strategy that fits your unique product and brand story

  • Capitalise on tourism opportunities to build your database and gain loyalty

  • Convert first time visitors into loyal customers

  • Utilise current technologies and sales platforms to attract and retain customers

  • Design visitor spaces and experiences for maximum audience engagement

  • Implement systems that enable you to engage with your customers and tailor campaigns to each segment

  • Measure success by utilising appropriate metrics and data management tools

Case studies demonstrating how wineries of different sizes can develop, maintain and grow a profitable DTC marketing channel will be showcased, along with current research showing the growth and potential for DTC sales.

Post-Workshop Consultation

Robin will be available for two days following the forum to conduct a complimentary personal consultation with participants to ensure information gained during the workshop can be implemented quickly and effectively.
