Description

As part of the 2018 Australian Computer Society Week (ACSW) conference hosted by The University of Queensland, the School of ITEE would like to invite you to join us for a Professional Development workshop on Thursday, 1 February, 2018.
High School students and teachers will cover an introduction to Augmented Reality and programming microcontrollers to create an interactive sound installation.

Participants will also have the opportunity of meeting existing university students and to view their projects.

The workshop will cover:
  • Introduction to programming micro controllers (Arduino based)
  • Set up of sensors and programming of them
  • Programming of visualisation using Unity
  • Introduction to Augmented Reality
  • Introduction to Fiducial markers (set up of cameras and programming visualisations with Scratch or Unity).
