How do I find out more about Digital Technologies in the classroom? How is Digital Technologies linked to the NSW Secondary Curriculum?

During this workshop will sign you up for the University of Adelaide online course, learning about how to use digital technologies in the classroom using csermoocs.adelaide.edu.au

This is an introductory course and will suit those who want to integrate digital technologies but not sure where to start.

Once signed up we will investigate ways to teach digital technologies in NSW classrooms using the NSW curriculum. We will be investigating the 7-8 C

These events are popular and if for some reason you are unable to attend could you please let the organiser know so your ticket can be reallocated.

Bring your own computer, it is easier to login and use flash tools on a laptop. iPads are OK as a main tool but you will be unable to use Scratch. If you have an ipad or smart phone they will be useful on the day also for apps.

During the one day workshop teachers can expect:

* Registration to F-6:foundations course – experienced programmers can login to 7-8 course

* Complete of Module

* Hands on activities with Sphero, Makey Makey, Pencilcode, littlebits

* Exemplar activities for Stage 4 – poster, etextile

* Curriculum discussion
