 Workshop Facilitator:

Dr Elizabeth Heck has facilitated digital storytelling and related co-creative media practice in both community and educational settings. She has recently completed a PhD exploring social learning and community uses of co-creative media in community media, arts and cultural contexts.

She has presented at national and international conferences, and has published journal articles and book chapters on the subject. In addition to this, she has facilitated workshops for professional development purposes. Elizabeth runs a variety of digital media workshops through Participate Media Arts, and in this storytelling workshop, she will guide you through crafting your own authentic story to share with the world. You will be introduced to narrative structure, pre-production and storytelling techniques, and effective ways to use the smartphone (or iPad or tablet) you carry around everyday as a storytelling device.
