Event description
A free and friendly program to help over 50's learn about the internet and devices.

About this event

Now, more than ever, we find ourselves relying on digital devices as our main source of communication.

This drastic switch to digital communication has caused so many older Australians to feel alienated and isolated. Some may feel like they're unable to make contact with others, simply because nobody has shown them how easy digital communications can be.

If this sounds like you, then the Gold Coast Innovation Hub’s Digital Literacy Program for Over 50’s is what you need. If you want to learn to connect to others, use social media, or just want to know more about today's digital world, this program is for you!

The Digital Literacy Program, funded by the Australian Government through the Good Things Foundation, is an ongoing, free and friendly program to help people to navigate the internet.

Attendees must be over 50 years old to participate in this program. Please bring your own devices (mobile phone, tablet, iPad, or laptop). Tea and coffee are provided!

The Digital Literacy Program takes place every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Each program covers a different topic regarding digital communications and internet literacy.
